The Supplies of Room Nine Learn to Shine, which is a book that mirrors the lives of children with behavior disabilities. Throughout the book, the characters learn to manage their behaviors and thus, they learn to shine! This book is important not only for children with behavior disabilities, but also to raise awareness for children with disabilities. It shows all children that anger and frustration can be managed in a positive manner. I think this is an extremely important message for children with and without a behavior disorder because it encourages children to engage in positive behaviors rather than negative behaviors, like yelling or violence. Not all students receive access to this additional behavior guidance, which is why I want to make this book accessible to as many underprivileged children as possible. Therefore, my goal for this book is to donate a copy for every copy that is sold. Through your support, we can help children throughout the world practice their reading and learn behavior management strategies.
